Fear can be crippling. It can overtake your life and stuff you into status quo mode. It can cut you off from all opportunity, all growth, and all adventure. What does it take to conquer this fear? A person must tap into their inner strength. Even when fear threatens to immobilize us, our inner strength waits to give us an adrenalin boost. It is the means for mind to overtake matter. When your inner voice says, “It’s too hard. I can’t do it. I am afraid, and I want to hide.” You have to create the opposing voice that answers, “If they can do it, I can do it.” “I will start with small steps, and I will conquer this.” “I will take it slow, and I can do it.”
Take a deep breath and realize that fear can be a good motivation as well. Fear can move you from a place of fear to a place of security. This use of fear to force a move will be a catalyst to create a better world for yourself. Face down your fear and step forth in faith. Use your fear to create your courage.
